Our yarrow extract is macerated using fresh organic flowering aerial portions and alcohol. It is somewhat bitter in taste and can be taken with water or juice or blended with other extracts like dandelion root. The tincture makes a nice addition to teas such as chamomile. Also works well on wounds helping to stop bleeding, cleanse and heal. We use this herb anytime we have a freshly opened bloody wound. It even works well on doggy wounds!
Precautions
Not recommended for enternal use in pregnancy. Persons with allergies to other members of the Asteraceae family should exercise caution with yarrow, as allergic cross-reactivity is common to Asteraceae plants. We recommend consultation with a qualified healthcare practitioner, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing or are on any medications.
